this stance as sturdy as leaves in a storm
i was home for the weekend. way fun. i hung out with gina and elizabeth on both saturday evening and all day sunday after work! it was excellent.
except for the part where some guy flipped out at me while i was working. oh wow. i cried. i'm such a puss. seriously. my manager AND the owner both called to see if i was alright. i need to strap my balls on.
anyways. saturday we went and watched elliot's band play at cool beans. it was effing excellent, as last time. they are playing at peabody's next month and everybody should go! or die trying!
sunday elizabeth and i went to the mall. and she was tortured by me shopping for pants. sorry, kid. i ended up with 1 pair of pants. 2 shirts. not gonna lie. i was planning on more shopping than that. so sue me.
they came back and saw my dorm/brandi's dorm/campus. we went to tumbleweed and had one helluvatime. i love my chixxx.
jessie is impossible to get ahold of but i love her toooooo!!
today was first day of classes. off to a shakey start. i woke up at exactly the time my class was starting. blahhhhhh. i figure that the "i'm a freshman" excuse will work for a good 3 weeks. hopefully i will have settled in by then.
i bought all of my art supplies today. although it was millions of dollars, i was very excited to get new toys. i also bought a book for art history on african art.
as much as i hate to wake up, college is exciting.
and i'm glad my sister is here, because otherwise i would probably collapse. or similar.
i have drawing class 1:00-3:50 and i can't decide if i should take all of my crap with me. eep.
