When I thought of things I really wanted to do this year, one activity really topped my list of hopefuls. This was of course paying a middleman company 350 dollars for an airline ticket that, due to the crapiferous weather the northeast got this weekend, was basically null and void. A great purchase indeed, a third of my paycheck to sit at the crummy Syracuse airport for 24 hours and then come home and fight with useless sales representatives who probably are on auto-hate for every caller. I'm not even trying to get a refund, as I understand that was impossible upon purchase. Credit would be nice though. You know, so at some point I could go somewhere. Damn you Priceline. They are supposed to call me back. I will hold my breath and then sue them for asphyxiation.

I was trying to go visit Moriah in California before she has to report to basic training in a week. After all that weather nonsense, the only flight they could get me on would've had me there within 20 hours of my return trip.

Anyway, I saw Al Franken at the airport. He looked miserable too.
