So Im listening to this Call and Response song, and it sounds like fucking Abba. Well not fucking them. All Night Long, its called. It was charming at first and I was kinda bouncing around like I do whenever I hear the first 15 seconds of "Prisstina" by Sleater-Kinney.
But soon after the singer chimed in and I started to feel like I should be swaying back and forth with a white feather-cuffed robe on, it was just too gas station cd to deal with. I hope all their songs are not like that, since Ive been told so many good things about them.
We will see whenever my Launch radio station decides to play them again. And luckily its the beginning of the month so I havent passed my usage limit and I can skip the christian rock songs they intersperse in there to piss me off. They do that. Just for good crudites with the Lordeth, say Yahoo. Bad couscous.
Now they are playing a band called Bangs, which has an album called Call and Response. This is infinitely better. And I see that they are Kill Rock Stars affiliates, excellent.
But what I want them to play, is the "Singles" version of Rebel Girl by Bikini Kill because that is the only album of theirs I dont have and I like that version.
I feel like jumping about at a show.
