So I am making good on my promise and I'm reviewing a game. BUT this is PC game, a visual novel in fact! (And the best part is it's short and FREE!!!)
Hm. Looking at this promotional image, all the guys look a little threatening.
They aren't really though! Promise!

Geekyness level: Mmm so so. If you have MMoRPG experience you'll probably like this game more.

The story is this. You are Merui, a high school girl with an obsession for an online game, Rivenwell Online. One day, while hacking and slashing at a boss, an annoying little brat of a guy named Alistair kill steal's Merui's boss and STEALS the drop! Merui is of course outraged, and so is her online friend, Fiona.
After snooping around Merui discovers Alistar most likely attends her school! Merui vows to uncover his real identity and get her drop! Alistair gives her one month to figure out who he is. If she fails she has to pay him all the gold she makes in a month!
You then play as Merui, parading around high school as you try to figure out who Alistair is and snag a boyfriend! There are three possible guys you can befriend.
SakeVisual really outdid themselves. This visual novel is actually more of a mini Tokimeki girl's side. It has stat raising, shopping, and two additional after school activities. You can finish the game fairly quickly, and if you want to go back and re do it to get a different ending or missing CGs, you can use the "skip" button to fastforward through dialog. (Gotta love the skip button!)
This game is EXCELLENT considering its price. It really is a joy to play, even though is simple and easy to beat. SakeVisual did a great job developing this game.
