Ugh, bunch of morning meetings tomorrow.
TV commentary:
Degrassi- Ha, so Jenna uses the diet pills and ends up having anal leakage? In the middle of the photo shoot where she's at the top of the pyramid? Okay, that would be pretty mortifying. No offense to her though, Jenna's kinda cute and all, but I don't see how she would be the obvious choice to be on the cover of the calendar. I mean, Anya's cuter than her. And ill, how corny was KC?
Heh, I'm amused by the forums referring to Bianca as a poor man's Alex. At least Sav was smart enough to not listen to her and try to outrun the cops. But their plan was pretty stupid. I mean, they were gonna take his Dad's car while his parents were at that film festival and park it in the exact same spot? I was wondering how they were gonna make sure no one else parked there, and the orange pylons were a nice touch, but they wouldn't be a guarantee. And wouldn't that draw attention, people would be all, why the frak are there pylons here? And how did he not see his parents getting out early and thinking the car was stolen as a possiblity?
Okay, Fiona is kinda a needy nutcase. But I'm still skeptical she'd be so lonely! No way other peeps at school wouldn't want to hang out with her, particularly since she's rich and likes to throw around money. I suppose maybe she can sniff phoneys out and stays away from them, but she's so needy I'm skeptical she wouldn't keep hangers on around! And again, there is no way she wouldn't have guys all over her!
And ooh, is Declan cheating on Holly J with Tinsley? I'm kinda skeptical he would succumb. I mean, given Holly J is apparently Fiona's only friend, and the fact that her own boyfriend cheated on her with Tinsley, I would think she would give him an earful if he went that route. Now, did he show up because he thinks he needs to do damage control, or was he telling her not to leave to see him because he was wanting to surprise her by showing up like that?
The 3 Tenners thing is kinda hilarious. I mean, you would think Wesley and Connor's plan, while their heart is in the right place since they want to break Dave out of his funk, was ill advised. Particularly when Wesley was talking about playing a flute and Connor was wanting to DJ. But I'll admit, their sound ended up actually being pretty good- too bad Dave can't sing! Though didn't they do the "person doesn't realize how bad a singer they are and their friends don't say anything to spare their feelings" with Fiona last season?!
Finally, the whole Eli and Fitz thing, my view on HS bullies is, words are fine, say what ever the hell you want, but as soon as you put hands on someone or start destroying property, its on! I'm very intrigued as to what the hell the rest of the school thinks of Adam. Do they really think she's a dude? I mean, this ep, it seemed like Eli totally knows she's a chick and is just humoring her, given the look he gives her when he tells her about Fitz kicking him in the nuts and Adam was all, "Oh yeah, man, that really hurts when that happens?" Its like he was thinking, "What do you know of such things, girlie?" But I would think if everyone knows she's a transgender, there would be lots of gossip going around. Fitz might've been less likely to punch her, though he seems like he would definitely be tormenting her about it.
Make It or Break It- Okay, Summer was a little over the line confronting Chloe like that in the bathroom. How is that any of her business? I mean, she can't really be falling for Lauren's "Oh, they're setting such a bad example for me!" I thought Summer had her number, she knows when Lauren is trying to play her. She can't actually believe Chloe and Steve's relationship is "making Lauren sin"! Then again, I guess she's such a fundy she hears what she wants to hear.
But we get more illumination on the whole Kaylee/Austin/Emily thing. I'm guessing the girls are kinda interested in him, given the way Kaylee was sure Emily made up the whole "babysitting her brother" thing to secretly go to the party, but she seemed hung up on the idea that Emily was possibly over there hanging all over him. And then when Kaylee goes to the party, and Lauren sends Emily the pic of Kaylee and Austin together, Emily is pretty mad. Though was it just because Kaylee was being a hard-ass telling them they have no time for such frivolities as parties, but there she is at the party, or because she was there talking to Austin? He's kinda a player then, because he acts pretty interested in both girls, he has to know that's causing issues between them.
Oh, and ha, who knew Payson was such a fame whore! But what the? Are we to believe they swam across the friggin' lake to escape the cops?!
