Owel, now that I'm caught up on my shows, I can discuss. But not before saying the "Starsky and Hutch" movie was pretty funny. I liked it. And wow, hot pants are like, hot!
Yeah, Dean is gonna end up divorced soon. He acts as if his marriage to Lindsey is just another job. And I don't know if its because the show is called Gilmore Girls so we focus on the Gilmores and not the Foresters, but it doesn't look like Lindsey has too much vested in the marriage either. Like she has Dean around just for the sake of having a husband.
Now I can see why Dean is still married, but why is Luke? Is there anything he wouldn't do for Lorelai? I'm surprised it hasn't become and issue between him and Nicole. Of course, again this show is about the Gilmores, not the Danes, so maybe it is happening and we just haven't seen it yet.
I've also liked the dynamic between Lorelai and Emily as of recent. Its like Loreali is showing she actually cares for her mother. That scene in te mall where she tells Emily she learned from the best was sweet. But speaking of mother/daughters, the whole deal with Lane and mrs. Kim is a little sad. Its like, despite their differences, you know they love each other very much.
And they killed of Lorelai the first but kept Mrs. C on to play Richard's cousin? weird. Anyways, both were pretty good eps.
Wow, that Seth really know how to toy with a girl's emotions. It was nice to see that they didn't do the whole "she's embarassed to be dating a geek, but then learns to not care what other people think" storyline with Summer. She's a girl with insecurities, in love with a boy she thinks is too good for her. Of course, the declaration of love on top of the coffee cart may have alleviated her fears for a short while, but I'm sure the whole running after Anna in the airport has her a little worried. I don't know if it was intentional, but it looked like the fears were surfacing there when Seth chose to eat a cheeseburger instaed of macking on her. I mean, I'm a huge cheeseburger fan, but even I'd pick making out with a total hottie like her over a nurger. Well, depending on how hungry I was. And mebbe if it was my first and only chance to try out some new burger I might pick it instead.
And then Anna, you could tell she was both really happy and totally heartbroken when Seth and Summer were standing on the coffee cart. And then when Seth shows up at the airport, even though she said there was no chemistry and she loves him as a friend, shw was totally hoping it would be like "Some Kind of Wonderful" (she looks very Watts-ish) and he was really in love with her now.
Also enjoyed Luke dorking out all the time now over his affair with Julie. And really, Sandy and Kirsten are the sweetest married couple on TV.
The whole storyline is totally depressing. Obviouslly, they weren't gonna let her off the show, since she's the only girl (well, there's Harmony, but she's not a main character) and also totally wicked mad cute. But its still sad. Some mat argue its been totally schmaltzy, but I like schmaltz. I'm curious how this whole Illyria thing plays out.
Seriously, first Kryptonite NOS and now Kryptonite bombs? If everyone is using it for everything, how have they not used up all the deposits yet. And if there is so much, how is Clark not dead? These last few eps were hum drum, all I can say are Lex and Chloe have a nice dynamic, and Lana is still berry berry hot.
I mean, they don't even bother explaining the call from the future. They don't even come up with a techno-babble explanation of why kryptonite caused it, they're just, "Yeah, the phone wires fell into an elecrtified puddle of Kryptonie during a thunder storm. ojv('Man, its obvious!')" I guess there is no legitimate reason they could come up with anyways. And Adam being Batman would have been so much cooler a storyline.
Dang, Michelle's stuck in the hotel. I guess it was obvious once she decided to go in that that was gonna happen, given waht's going on between her and Tony.
And I totally knew when Lauren said excuse me while she was on the phone with Vaughn that it was because she was screwing around! She and Sark make a cute evil Syd and Vaughn. And Lauren looks better with dark hair. Maybe cause her eyebrows are so dark and its distracting when she's blonde. And Sloane is toally lying or worng about being Syd's dad.
Mike changing his name to Crap Bag? One of the funniest things on Friends ever! Its one of my new favorite Friend's quotes: "If you have trouble remember my name, just think of a bag of crap."
