So, since I finished up the latest eps Ted Lasso and the Boys before dinner yesterday, got around to starting Hannibal. I didn't know Marina from The Magicians/Kojo Sledgehammer from Arrow was a major character in this, or at least the first season. (Or if I did, I promptly forgot) Its interesting so far, I did not expect Hannibal to be taking such... an active role in things right from the start. I assumed he would be like a mystery, or playing things low key. But he's just like killing people left and right!

Heh, I also remember people joking about him making puns while tricking people into eating people and making veiled threats about them being a later meal. I just didn't realize how overtly ridiculous they were about it.

TV Commentary:

The Boys- I'm sure these first three eps is a roller coaster for folks particularly concerning Stormfront. Like at first she seems like this no-nonsense, well put together lady speaking out against all the BS. But then episode 3 rolls around, and you find out she's a racist nazi. So while she seemed like someone who could stand up to Homelander (and I think there were people who prior to the reveal, were worried about her), she's totally as bad as him, just in a different way.

I find it weird that some people think Homelander is going to just beat her down. I think the big deal is that he can't just do that, because she's as powerful as him. And she's starting to be more popular and charismatic as him. Which I think will definitely play into the Compound V reveal. We see the start of it, with Edgar being all, "Oh, we didn't know, but look what happened with these super terrorists! Its a good thing we made all these compound V folks to fight against them!" I'm guessing Stormfront will continue with this, working up the public into a racist fervor, even demanding that they start having more compound V usage to fight against these scary furners.
