TV commentary:
Arrow- Heh, its obvious she wouldn't!
Well the show made it seem like Laurel was considering taking up the Monitor on his offer. But after hearing from Mia about what a great hero she is in the future, she double crosses the Monitor (and Lyla). So yeah, Digg finds out his wife is in league with the Monitor. But they don't get time to do anything with that info, because they're immediately tranqed.
Riverdale- Heh, this show continues to be bonkers.
I think some people are displeased at how crazy Choni have gotten. But I think you got to roll with it, at least they're together. But yeah, Toni being fine with the Jason thing, Choni being all, "Owel, we killed someone in self defense!" Even their way out of Cheryl's aunt's sights was insane.
So they trick her and her son into thinking they ate the uncle. So if they turn Choni in for basically murder or continue to try and steal the Maple syrup business, she'll expose them for cannibalism. Yeah, that really doesn't make sense, but whatever.
And the stuff with Archie was a kinda horrible thing to do! Like his mom should have major PTSD, she just lost her husband a few months before, and she almost had to see her son executed in front of her. But I guess they're acting like Fred's ghost blew up the deep fryer to distract Dodger's mom, so she's actually feeling uplifted.
Supernatural- Hey, look who's back.
Looks like Eileen had gone to hell after she died, and managed to escape when the gates were thrown open. But as the boys found out earlier than the season, souls that have been in hell can't go to heaven, which thinking about now, isn't that bullshit? Like didn't their dad get to go to heaven?
Anyways, Eileen obviously doesn't want to go back, nor does she want to go feral. So at first they decide to dive into Rowena's stash to trap Eileen in one of those pocket worlds in a crystal. But they end up finding a spell Rowena was working on to resurrect Mary. But since Mary is in heaven and happy, they never got to use it. So they use it to bring back Eileen.
Cas meanwhile has an adventure killing a Djinn and rescuing a boy, but also finds out from the boys about Chuck and Lilith, so Cas realizes he has to "get back in the game".
Legacies- Glad that happened.
Oh, heh, I thought Josie read about Hope from previous journals, but turns out she also read Lizzie's current diary entries, where she talks about getting her memories back and remembering Hope. So Josie goes to NOLA to seek Freya's help for the counterspell. She gets Freya help by telling her she has pics of someone she doesn't remember. (Which, heh, didn't Freya think that was weird and try to figure it out on her own?)
Only Freya figures out Josie has been coy because she doesn't know what to do with the spell yet. And indeed she doesn't, because she knows bringing back everyone's memories will cost her Landon. So she blasts Freya and runs off after she gets the info she needs. But she calls Caroline for advice, and also realizes Freya and the rest of the Mikaelsons are prolly missing Hope and vice versa. And its unfair to split a family like that just to keep Landon. (Speaking of the Mikaelsons, looks like Freelin is still together, and they have a son named after Klaus)
So she does the counterspell and returns EVERYONE's memories. I guess not just of Hope, but of all the Malivore stuff? Because we find out Sebastian's story. He was a vampire in Roanoke, who loved a witch named Cassandra. She had been tasked with the town's Puritannical council to find the person feeding on the townsfolk. Which was Sebastian. So she instead made a protective amulet for him and summoned a "Croatoan", a truth seeking demon to find out the evil secrets of the council members to get them off their backs.
Only she lost control of it- Sebastian was worried about her because it went after secrets, and she had a pretty huge one in him. So she dessicated him to stop him from putting himself in harms way for her, which only resulted in him be stuck helplessly as the monster killed her.
But yeah, with that information and the protective necklace, Hope is able to stop the Croatoan, which had been hunting she and Lizzie for the big secret of Hope being someone everyone forgot about. When Josie's spell brought back everyone's memories (wait, does that mean Landon remembers his mom again?) the Croatoan had lost interest in them and went back to his primary mission from Malivore to hunt Landon.
But like I said, Hope rescues Landon, who is pissed about her not telling him about their love. And now Josie's in the mix, so he doesn't know what to do. (Oh, and it turns out Hope had a crush on Josie too back in the day!)
Other stuff, MG is still hitting it off with Kaleb's sister Kym (visiting for Commonwealth day, whatever the hell that is), and they say they're just friends. Of course, there's also the whole Lizzie thing hanging over it all. And Sebastian exacerbating things by making little digs at MG. Eventually though, he realizes he has to bite the bullet and tell Lizzie she's not crazy and apologize for accidentally making her think so.
Alaric ends up being brought in since he was in the bar before Clark killed the Keeper and random bartender. Things were already tense between him and Sheriff Mac because he stood her up. Anyways, he tells her that the supernatural is real, in the hopes that she would look the other way on things for the greater good. But she can't do that, so he had Kaleb mindwipe her.
Oh, and finally know what happened to Matt, turns out he's no longer sheriff because he's mayor!
