TV commentary:

Supernatural- Wait, I assumed at the end of the last season it was the whole world. Are they saying this ep, while all the billions of souls in hell where let out, its just in this small town? I thought they just started appearing all over the place.

But this ep they're acting like its a limited occurrence. Like obviously they'd want to stem the flow of souls from hell, but if its not just in this place, I don't think the spell would have been all that useful. What's the point of moving people five miles away and sealing off a mile radius if the souls had other ways of getting out. So it really does seem like they trapped all three billion souls in a one mile area.

And heh, way to keep the actor playing Jack on the show- Jack is dead, but a demon possessed his corpse so he can still be around.

Legacies- A few more comments on this, which I may have covered last season. So Landon has a feeling they're forgetting someone, Alaric has evidence that someone else was around at Malivore HQ, but since they destroyed all of Hopes files and keepsakes, they have no evidence of her. But that was at the school. Surely her family in NOLA have something of hers.

And if they don't, why the hell do they think Klaus and Elijah and Hayley died? I guess they could chalk up Hayley being killed by someone from the school with a grudge, which can still happen without having a daughter going to that school. But why do they think Klaus and Elijah killed themselves? I guess they have some other reason for why Klaus took in the Hollow in their minds?

But yeah, like Hope was really wanting to see her friends when she got out, but what about her family?

Riverdale- Heh, as I said, I forgot a bunch of stuff from last season that I didn't even realize I missed in the season premiere. So when Toni was holding a white baby, I was like, who is that? I missed that it was Jason and Polly's twins and Cheryl's grandma was sitting down next to them holding the other one.

Also, I didn't catch the significance of Alice reading the obituary, because I forgot as far as everyone knows, she and Polly and the rest of the cult (except for Kevin!) "ascended" and are missing. So obviously, she's somewhere where they get the paper.

That being said, I also forgot with her missing, and Hal killed last season, and V's parents both being in jail, the girls are living alone without parental supervision! How does that work?!
