TV commentary:
Killing Eve- Pretty slick of her.
Look at Carolyn, knowing exactly what she's doing. She saw Eve's growing obsession with Villanelle, even let Eve think, "Oh, Peel is a psycho, maybe the only way we get close to him is with another psycho!" was all her idea. But nope, this was next level manipulation.
For all those wondering all season, why the hell would the Brits work with a total psychopath, someone who killed several of their agents, it all makes sense now. Peel's surveillance had him knowing too much, any attempt to bring him down legally would cause him to prolly make a lot of revelations that they didn't want knowing. Conveniently, they can now hang this all on Eve and Villanelle- a misguided analyst who was in over her head hatched an off the books plan (so the govt has deniability now) to try and get to some bad guy, only her asset went off book and killed the guy. Which is what they wanted all along. They can claim it wasn't their plan, and as far as anyone else was concerned, it looks like the 12's top assassin killed Peel on their orders.
But anyways, Eve is starting to see how much she fucked up, and the vacation is over, as it were. Villanelle shoots her at the rejection, but let's be serious, Eve can't be dead. And she doesn't even know Eve killed her ex-husbands new gf and locked him in the room with her corpse!
Elementary- I still think that's what will happen.
So Gregson's attack might be part of some bigger terrorist plot. So Holmes encourages Watson to stay to help Marcus while he flees back to England. Only he doesn't flee, he turns himself into the FBI, no doubt jockeying to work the case anyways. But with Gregson's wife knowing something's up, and him still being in coma, I bet his daughter will eventually come clean so Sherlock can solve the case.
Agents of SHIELD- Didn't expect things to go that fast!
So much for Keller. Given the talk about the rules of fraternization being there for a reason and Mack asking if there was a hypothetical breach, if they can do their job instead of putting their loved one first, I figured that would come into play. Most likely with Yo Yo having to choose between his life and the safety of others. I didn't expect it to happen so fast though. Literally! She ends up quickly having to stab him to kill a parasite within him to save the base.
The Deke story was a little more light hearted, a nice mix of humor and action. Sarge has May though, and it will be interesting to see them have a lengthy conversation. Is he another version of Coulson? Like does he actually recognize the name? Does he know a version of May? Guess we'll find out!
