TV commentary:

Lucifer- Woah, amazing season, way better than it was on Fox. Great arcs for everyone. Like I loved Dan and Ella's arcs (not them together, because that's still kinda weird). But I mean, it took all season, but it was nice that it took a while for Dan to come to terms with what happened with Charlotte, and how that had actual impact on other character's story.

And I'm glad Ella got her faith back in the end. I kinda like her explanation of why bad things happen.

Argh, the Mazikeen/Eve stuff! Holy cow, Maze sings good, that really was a great gesture. Eve was a little thick to see it. But glad to see at the end she realized Maze's feelings for her, and how she likes Maze too. Which is kinda funny given earlier in the season them complaining about Lilith. So its like she's dating her mom's ex-husband's ex-wife? Anyways, they don't end up together at the end, but it makes sense. Eve is a mess. She needs to find herself first or she'll just ruin any relationship she tries with Maze.

Which, Eve's realization in the end, she says how its something she needs to work on, but they brought up the fact about how she was made from Adam's rib, making her special, which is how she was able to come back down to Earth. But yeah, given her eagerness to please Adam (even though she didn't like him/wasn't given the choice to become his wife) and then Lucifer, it may be that she's predisposed to that behavior because of why she was created.

Also, I'm glad they did reference the whole Cain thing from last season, because it would've been weird if they didn't mention it. But its funny how it was quick, Lucifer wonders if she has some sort of secret revenge plan, but she's all nope, he killed Abel, eff him.

The baby stuff was good too. In the end, Amenadiel chooses not to abscond with Charlie to the Silver City because no one would sacrifice and protect Charlie like they could. Which is true. But lets not forget, the reason he started thinking he needed to take Charlie to the Silver City was because he almost got shot by a cop, and then they did all they could help that one kid, and he still ended up getting randomly killed. So there's a whole lot of non-supernatural things they can't protect him from. (Also, lets see more Remiel!)

But that ending, like I said, they dialed the Deckerstar angst to 11 this season. They win in the end, but Luci realizes he needs to go back to keep the demons in line. So even though Chloe tells him she loves him, and he realizes she's his first love in his prophecy, not Eve, he's even more sure. Those demons are going to continue to be defiant and dangerous unless he goes back.

Which, I really hope there's another season, because I hope that's not how it ends for Deckerstar and Mazikeve. But I guess it could also end there, even though its a mostly downer ending. Like Amenadiel and Linda will do their best to raise Charlie on Earth. Eve is finding herself and maybe find her way back to Maze. Ella and Dan seem to have gotten closure on Charlotte's death. That's as good a break as any. And even the Lucifer stuff- like I said, they could go for that total downer ending where he can never be with Chloe since he has to keep hell in check. But I hope that's not where it ends.
