TV commentary:
Legends of Tomorrow- Hopefully Nora and Constantine will clear that up!
I mean, Nora knows she didn't kill Hank, and of course Ray is willing to believe her. But John learned a demon killed Hank, so hopefully he will tell them team (particularly Nate!!) that Nora didn't kill his dad.
And heh, seriously, Hank thought the kidnapping of magical creatures was for a theme park? That's so silly and insane, but totally sad and heartwarming at the same time when you see his video.
Arrow- Glad that's how it went down.
Glad to see the guest spot by Sara, and that they managed to redeem Laurel-2 and have her make amends with everyone before going back home. Better than killing her off.
Not that she doesn't show back up in the future to give Mia some words of advice.
Flash- Weird!
Not only did Iris suppress Nora's powers, Nora had no idea that he dad was the Flash? Ah'm skeptical! And we get some tragic backstory- apparently her best friend was killed by a meta when she first got her powers back.
The Magicians- Shocking!!
So Alice and Q manage to take down Sister and take her out of Julia. She's wounded bad, and the Binder says he can save her, but she has to choose either to become a god or stay human. Since she's unconscious, Penny23 makes the decision for her and has him turn her human. Needless to say, she's pissed since she can no longer do magic.
Anyways, taking down Sister takes most of their juice, and Everett beats them to the reservoir, and since the curse was broken, he consumes all of it to be a virtual god.
Fogg manages to temporarily slip the Monster a magical mickey while they figure out how to save him and stop the Monster and his sister. And what is it? Get the power to trap the Monster by having a whole bunch of mages and hedges all over the world and Fillory to do cooperative magic.
But what to do with the bottled monsters? Josh still had magic from when he drank the water, and he accidentally activates a scroll in Julia's pocket to take them to the godly realm (The Monster and his sister had planned to storm heaven and kill their parents, or get their bodies destroyed in the attempt), and speak with someone who tells them to throw the bottles into the seam between the living and dead universe.
So they do, only Everett tries to stop them, because he wants their power for himself so he can defeat the old gods and be a new, better god. Q sacrifices himself to get rid of the monsters and stop Everett, and is greeted in the underworld by Penny40.
Q struggles with it, wondering if he really did what he did to save his friends, or because he's secretly suicidal at heart. But he gets to see his funeral, and how he touched all his friends. Alice is of course devastated, and Q does get to see Eliot mourn him in his way. Though they were a little too subtle with it, so the Quelliot fans are not pleased.
Particularly since apparently Q is gone for real!! Like the showrunners definitely killed him off, and the actor is done. Very unexpected!
And he's not the only loss! Dunno if this is permanent too, but Margo and Eliot go to Fillory to recover and see Fen and Josh. And they pull a Narnia- 300 years have apparently passed since Fen and Josh got overthrown by some dark new ruler. Guess we'll need to wait until next season to see what's up with that.
And also to see what's up with Julia- that's another comfort Q gets before he shuffles off to the afterlife. Magic comes from pain, and she's in a LOT of it from losing her best friend in the world. So, hey at least she can cast again!
