TV commentary:
CAOS- Pretty good, though I was a little offended at one point. Sabrina and the Weird sisters tricking the football players who attacked Susie into making out with each other, and Sabrina threatening to blackmail them. This is 2018! Blackmailing them for doing something gay implies there's something wrong with being gay.
Anyways, Madame Satan's scheming was pretty brilliant there in the end. She tries to drive a wedge between Sabrina and her friends by capitalizing on Dorca and Agatha's attempt to kill the Kinkel boys just because they're descended from witch hunters. Sabrina tries to rez Harvey's brother, but "Miss Wardwell" ensures things go horribly wrong, forcing Sabrina to reveal the truth to Harvey and Harvey to kill the abomination that was his brother.
So when Susie and Roz confront Sabrina after they separately figure out she's a witch (Roz from "the cunning", Susie from her ancestors journal), she comes clean, all ready for her friends to freak out and abandon her. But when they're totally there for her, Wardwell realizes she has to take a different tack.
She gets the 13 Greendale witches who were hung to summon a deadly demon and get revenge on the humans and witches who abandoned them. Since trying to cut away her mortal ties didn't, creating a huge threat instead to get Sabrina to willingly sign the dark book to get the power to defeat it to save her loved ones was pretty genius.
Anyways, with the threat done, lots of set up for next season. Lady Blackwood doesn't survive giving birth, and Zelda tells her husband that one twin consumed the other. Only, Zelda stole one of the twins, the girl one, the actual first born? Why, because she feared what Lord Blackwood would do if he found out his "legal" first born was a female.
And she is right to fear, but also, she doesn't know the trouble she may have inadvertently caused. Because he thinks his first born from his actual wife (since he already has kids like Prudence) is a boy, he takes it as a sign from the Dark Lord that dudes should be on top.
And no one even knows Miss Wardwell is Madame Satan, they all still think she's just some rando Sabrina's dad had secretly watching over her as backup to the aunts.
Supergirl- Seriously?! So we learn what makes Agent Liberty tick. And he just randomly happens to have met the gang on separate occasions over the past two years.
Ah, but interesting, people were wondering who the mysterious person in the Supergirl suit in the comic con trailer. Some thought it may have been Russian Supergirl, or maybe Lena, wearing a fancy suit. But nope, turns out the suit is to protect Supergirl from the kryptonite irradiated atmosphere.
So wait, does that mean Superman can't come back until this is resolved? And what of Russian Supergirl? Shouldn't she be dying now too? And she doesn't have Lena's fancy suit.
