TV commentary:
Dirk Gently- Damn, this was a depressing ep. And its like, Amanda and Todd were finally reunited, and it all went to shit. So Amanda had left the village to take Farson to his family, wherein they were captured by Panto's sister Litzibitz. Meanwhile, Todd ran off to find Amanda after arriving in Wendimoor (Dirk was busy feeling sorry for himself, blaming himself for all the people who got killed at the hospital, including Arnold), and ends up getting captured by Silas.
Luckily for the Brotzmanns, Silas and Litzibitz had made a secret meeting to try and avert war between their families. Unfortunately, their father and mother, respectively, had them followed, leading to a huge standoff at the bridge. Which the Mage's knights exacerbate by sniping and killing Farson. Which leads to a bloodbath, with Liztibitz being one of the casualties. Amanda and Todd mange to escape during the chaos.
Silas survives, but his mother calls him a fool for believing the Dirk Gently prophecy, and getting angry at him for not wanting to kill the Trosts after they killed his brother. Which how stupid can these two families be? Their kids are trying to convince them this is all a trick, that they're falling for the Mage's machinations, to no avail.
And if things couldn't get any worse, freaking Suzie shows up and kills Wakti and takes over the Knights. Which leads to an argument between Todd and Amanda when they happen upon Wakti's corpse. Amanda wants to stay and help these people, to fix everything, while Todd wants to get them out of there before they get hurt. And then they get captured.
Back at the place where Todd and Dirk showed up, Dirk is busy wallowing, and being captured by some weird lady who makes him her husband. Eventually though, he snaps out of his funk, and figures out Arnold had a twin brother. And that Wendimoor is a dreamworld created by... Moloch!
So hopefully he can get back together with the Brotzmanns and put together all they know to fix things!
