TV commentary:
Stranger Things- Man, that has gotta suck. El stuck at the cabin all day. Well, at least she has TV! But heh, look who's being all catty, teeking Max off her skateboard after seeing her with Mike. I am totally shocked that Mike would immediately flock to "El's here!" after Max said it felt like the skateboard was pulled out from under her. Its a bit of a stretch.
But given the gangs knowledge of nerd lore, I am also surprised Dustin is that naive about Dart. I mean, bless him for not immediately thinking something is bad, but still, its not like it looks like Gizmo. It looks like something out of Alien!
But whoops, Bob's advice backfires! I mean, I thought it was pretty good, innocent advice to give to will to help him get over his fears. But all that did was cause him to be possessed by that shadow creature!
Which Joyce thinks she sees on that tape. And Hopper is making the Institute look into the rot around their facility- now is Paul Reiser (whom I totally didn't recognize at first, he's gotten old!) trying to cover it up, or is he cocky, convinced this couldn't have anything to do with them?
Heh, poor Steve though, Nancy's a mean drunk. She doesn't remember any of it, so he tells her how she told him she doesn't really love him. She tries to tell him he's being ridiculous, but she can't even bring herself to say it when he asks her to tell him she loves him.
But hmm, what does she and Jonathan have going on? Obviously they got something from radio shack to do something, and I'm guessing she purposely made that call knowing the Institute is eavesdropping.
