TV commentary:
Supergirl- That was weird!
So Lillian Luthor and her people engineer an escape attempt and frame Lena. Kara is the only one who thinks she's innocent, even when it seems like Metallo is breaking her out. Turns out Lex had hidden caches of weapons to use against Supes, locked to Luthor DNA. So Lillian didn't reunite with her daughter out of love, it was to unlock the caches. Because it turns out Lena wasn't randomly adopted, she's the product of one of Lionel's affairs. So unlike Lillian, who only married into the Luthor name, Lena is a true Luthor.
So Supergirl rescues Lena, and Lena tells Kara even though SG saved her, Kara was the one who believed in her. So they share a hug, but then after Kara leaves, she has a weird look and they flashback to Lex and Lena as kids where Lena proved to be the superior chess player. So is she secretly evil or not?
Also, Kara almost kissed Mon-El, but they're interrupted by Mr Mxyzptlk, who has come to profess his love for Kara. That's a villain I didn't expect them to bring out!
24: Legacy- Oh, interesting!
The connection between Locke and Andy was that they used to date, but Locke broke it off because he felt it would hurt his career if it was discovered he was gay.
But yeah, it doesn't take long for Carter to be cleared by CTU and work for them. And also start illegally utilizing their resources to spy on a cell phone conversation his brother's gf had because his wife was suspicious of her. Because apparently in that world the government records all phone conversations ever.
Anyways, turns out the leak is... Major Dad! And he has Nilaa framed to cover his tracks. It seems like he's being blackmailed into doing it to save his son's campaign, possibly from some other indiscretion.
Also, seriously, Emily Fitch/Carter Steven's bf was still alive? They turn around for a few seconds and he manages to jump out a window and collapse by the soccer field, so now Amira has to finish him off at the hospital.
And whoops, looks like the terrorists got the list, but that was a given, else there would be no show.
APB- I'll give the show kudos.
