TV commentary:
The Librarians- Confirmed! So throughout the series there have been hints that Cassandra is bi, but I guess they confirmed it this episode with Estrella! And heh, what were they implying with her tumor? So she was always worried that removing her tumor would make her lose her crazy math powers. But not with it removed, she apparently has telepathy? Now, was it force of will that, with the removal of the tumor, she not only kept her powers, but increased them? Or was the tumor actually keeping her from her full potential, and she would've had her new abilities earlier if she removed the tumor then?
Sherlock- Unexpected and crazy! So the CotW was Sherlock taking down Arnim Zola, a rich dude and secret serial killer. It turns out that we didn't see all of Mary's video last week. She had a specific plan for him to save John- pick a fight with a bad guy, purposely get in dire straits so John will save him, and that would supposedly save John from the depression he'd sunk into. It works.
But that's not the big twist. Anyways, I remember the hint about a third Holmes brother way back when. Though I totally missed the "Sherrinford" clues in the past couple of eps. So people were wondering if Sherrinford was the third brother. Heh, turns out we were all being chauvinist, because the third sibling is a sister, Euros!
I wanna say, kudos to them for disguising her so well in the past couple of eps. Seriously, John's therapist, fake version of Arnim Zola's daughter, and the girl John was text-cheating with? I mean, looking at pics of them side by side I still would never guess they're the same lady! Like yes, she's wearing different wigs, and contacts, but its still kinda crazy that its merely different makeup that makes her look all different.
In any case, theories still abound about Sherrinford. Some people think he's a fourth sibling, going by Sherlock's line about the number 3 being weird in that people often stop at 3. So they read that as a hint that people assume there are only 3 Holmes siblings but there's another. Some even think there's a twin thing going on, either that Euros is Sherlock's twin, or Euros and Sherrinford are twins, because of the line last ep about "Its never twins!" Which on the one hand I wanna say people are reading too much into things, but on the other this show does it all the time.
There are others who think Sherrinford is the place where Euros was being kept, and Mycroft has been keeping her there, and she got out. Of course, there's also the simplistic, Sherrinford is just a nickname of hers. Then there's the people who think this is all bullshit, and she's just a crazy lady who thinks she's the third Holmes sibling, as the only one she tells this to is John, who has no idea one way or the other.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
