There's way too much TV on Sundays right now.
TV commentary:
Walking Dead- Okay, that ep was ridiculous.
They knew how people were pissed about the season cliffhanger, did they really think delaying the reveal for 20 minutes was a good idea?
Anyways, as many expected, Abraham bit it. But nope, they did still have a twist coming. Because Daryl got angry and punched Negan, he had to make an example of someone else. And so Glenn also bit it, just like in the comics.
In any case, this whole ep could've been condensed into prolly less than 20 minutes. I didn't need to see so much of Glenn and Abraham getting their brains beaten in, of Negan being a menacing asshole, of Rick agonizing over everything. Or being forced to almost chop Carl's arm off and weep like a baby.
I did say some reviewer say, Rick doesn't have the moral high ground because this is his fault, that he attacked Negan's men unprovoked and Negan is just having to do the show of force to establish his dominance. But that's BS. Yes, Rick attacked that one outpost, but the Saviors had separately tried to rob and capture/kill Sasha, Abraham and Daryl. And once the Saviors learned about Alexandria, this was coming anyways.
Owel, Negan takes Daryl hostage as additional insurance- if they move against him they'll send Daryl back in pieces. I'm trying to recall if he did that in the comics, and if he did, if it was Carl.
Westworld- Oh, heh, this whole time I though Armistice was heavily scarred, turns out its a serpent tattoo?
In any case, looks like Maeve is starting to uncover the truth. And now she has proof- they didn't remove all the shrapnel from her last time, so she used Hector's knife to dig into her abdomen, where she finds the shrapnel, proving she's not imagining things.
NCIS: LA- Well, that's not good.
Kensi's awake now. But, it looks like at the very least her left hand is paralyzed.
OUAT- Whoops!
Turns out Aladdin is alive and has been hiding in Storybrooke the whole time! Well, the EF, but got swept up in the curse. He was there because he used magic shears to cut out his "saviorness" (given to him by Jafar). Ha, he reveals himself to Emma and gives her the shears, and she and Henry encourage him to find Jasmine. Even if he cut (oh heh, pun not intended, but I guess that's apt) and run, she's all, Jasmine will forgive him because Emma can tell how much she cares. Now that they're both here, maybe they can finally get around to being together.
So he does, and she's happy to see him... because she still needs his help with Agrabah! HA!
In any case, the EQ disguises herself as Archie and gets Emma to reveal her visions. But her family is there for her, and they seem to accept if being the savior does kill her, she accepts that. She's a good person and won't shirk her duties. Only she gives the shears to Hook to get rid of them, but he lies and keeps it, presumably to save her life. But we all know its going to end up in the wrong hands.
