TV commentary:
Faking It- Ah, so this ep makes it clear.
So, Sabrina did indeed pretend to be gay to get close to Amy and push Karma out. At first. But then she did legitimately fall for Amy. So she spends the whole ep figuring out what to do, how to explain the initial deception to Amy but make Amy know she really does like her. Too bad Karma does that for her, having co-opted Felix into helping her prove Sabrina is a liar. She learns Sabrina really does have a long distance boyfriend, and tells him about Sabrina and Amy.
So he storms into the party, angry, confirming what Felix and Karma just told Amy about Sabrina. Sabrina wants to explain, but Amy is so hurt, she won't let her. Amy kicks Sabrina out, and seeks solace in Karma's arms.
Equally tragic is Shane and Noah's story. Shane is indeed unsure about the whole trans thing, and what it means. And I don't think you can fault him, for all his experience, he's still out of his depth. And for once, he keeps his mouth shut and doesn't out Noah, making it really difficult to seek advice. Eventually he gets over his fears and goes for it. And makes the big mistake of telling Noah he did have his reservations and thought he'd have to turn in his gay card. Which was the exactly the wrong thing to say. If Shane doesn't see him as a gay man, then what is this relationship. So Noah storms off hurt.
Other stuff, Liam pretends to be Lauren's boyfriend since Theo showed up to the party with another girl so she can save face. Unfortunately, new Lisbeths (they're twins) post it on instagram. Lauren freaks out at first, and Liam says she can just tweet a correction, but Lauren wants to run with it.
