TV commentary:
Doctor Who- Well, that's answered. We finally find out how Missy survived the end of last season, and how she and Clara survived supposedly being killed last ep. Something to do with teleportation at the same frequency of the energy of the disintegration beam, so they really teleport when it seems they disintegrate.
Interesting thought about the Doctor tho, the reason he is the consummate survivor, is because he always believes there's a way out, there's a solution to every problem. So they're saying he's very positive?
But heh, so Davros tries to trick the Doctor by playing the role of tired old man, full of regrets. And apparently the doc can heal people a little by giving away some of his regeneration energy? So he tries to give Davros just a little, so he can see the sun with his own eyes one last time. But its a trick, and Davros ends up draining the doctor and turning the Daleks present in Skaaro into some sort of timelord/dalek hybrid?
But the Doctor knew it was a trick, and knew it would also revive the creepy sewer Daleks, the remnants of the organic portion of Daleks when they're destroyed. So those rise up and attack, and the Doctor and Clara escape in the chaos. But some of the hybrids appear to survive, and may team up with Missy. So I guess they'll be back later?
Missy is quite amusing, I did like the dynamic between her and Clara when they're off on their own. I guess this would be what it would be like if the Master had a companion? Witty banter, the Master using them however he/she sees fit, as tools or bait. So yeah, even though Missy helped the Doctor and Clara at points, she was still evil, with the whole locking Clara up in the Dalek and trying to trick the Doctor into killing her. Hmm, they mentioned nanites though, will there be residual Dalek tech in Clara that will cause trouble in the future?
Also, Missy offhandedly mentions a daughter. Will this be the mysterious character played by Arya from GoT?
