TV commentary:
Hart of Dixie- Cute, funny, but bittersweet ep. So, schemes abound. Zade need more cash because they want to move out. Or rather, they think they have to move out of Lavon's because its the "grown up" thing to do. Zoe's sad about it, and so is Lavon once he finds out. In the end though, even though their scheme works, despite a few hiccups, Zoey and Wade ask if they can still stay until the kid is born and thing settle down. Lavon is of course happy to let them stay, since it takes a village.
The other big scheme is Lemon, who sees AB and George talking and having fun after a little mess where AB wants to sell the Houseboat George lives on so she can have money to go to nursing school. George didn't know that and sandbags her attempt, not wanting to lose his home due to what he thought was a fleeting whim. Had he known, he would've tried to be more helpful. So, first Lemon fixes the situation by arranging the sale of the boat to someone else who would continue to allow George to rent it. They realize its a scheme, but she claims she just wanted to get their help to do a test run of the food at Fancy's.
So, they agree to that, and she's thrilled when they seem to hit it off. Unfortunately they eventually figure out she's trying to fix them up. And AB finds it amusing, until George realizes the bigger meaning of it all. Since he knows about the Lavon thing, AB is livid that she thinks the worst of it, that Lemon only wanted them together so she could be free to run off with Lavon. I mean, true, but I don't think Lemon was trying to be that devious.
Like, Lemon's in love with Lavon but she's loyal to AB, so she was desperate for some way for this all to work out because its killing her not being able to be with Lavon. And its not like George is this terrible guy. She's fond of both of them, and there are worse things than two of the people she cherishes most in the world finding love with each other.
But as I said, AB's pissed, basically calling Lemon a selfish bitch and accusing her of trying to get her out of the way so she can have Lavon. So, Lemon is crushed that her plan backfired and her best friend hates her. Lavon is all, now that is all out in the open, why not just be together since AB hates her anyways? But, it doesn't work like that. Lemon's not going to betray AB like that.
And what's kinda sad is AB and George do hit it off, but they don't want to give Lemon the satisfaction.
