TV commentary:
The Mentalist- Not cool, Patrick. So he purposely directs Lisbon on a wild goose chase during the hotel attack to keep her safe. He's a pretty cocky guy, and that does extend to the team, he trusts their skill, but you never know! What if the assassin got the drop on them? How pissed would Lisbon be if one of the team got killed while she wasn't there? And he thinks they can talk it out? I mean, he's been wanting to get her to retire from law enforcement, but she said last week its in her blood!
And they can't work together, if she can't trust him, if she has to worry that he's going to pull shit like that again, trying to protect her rather than letting her do her job.
Criminal Minds- Hmm, I'll admit, I wasn't sure where the CotW was headed. At first I thought he was split personality or something, I didn't piece together the whole organ donor thing until they revealed it. I can't believe they went with "random store owners who need to check ID" as the possible unsub before the freaking DMV though!
But heh, I know they claim the daughter will be in denial, but seriously, she gets a liver right after her dad killed himself? That would have to be a whole lot of denial. And I'm amused they went into the commercial break trying to fool the audience into thinking he killed that woman. Like I don't know the rules for organ donation, but surely if he killed some organ donor lady, they wouldn't let the organ go to his daughter.
Anyways, its nice whenever we see Rossi's daughter, because I've always liked Amber Stevens.
