TV commentary:

Parks and Rec- Heh, interesting. When they said there was going to be a time jump to the future, I didn't expect them to actually play up that angle with the Cubs winning the World Series, and Kevin James being the new Bourne, and crazy holographic tablets.

It was sad/interesting to see Ron and Leslie be enemies. But hey, they brought Dub-Dub back!

Person of Interest- Hmm, not the way I expected that ep to go. But I guess they didn't just want to rehash "The Devil's Share" from last season. It was interesting that Root and Reese's rampage was in the background, and the ep was mostly Control figuring out Samaritan may not be trustworthy at all. (Also, is smugness a pre-req to work for Samaritan?) And heh, I like the callback with the rocket launcher and Root finally getting to use it!

But yeah, Root seemed so lost this ep. When she was interrogating Control- she was missing that spark. Like there's always been a playfulness about her, even when she's torturing folks. But honestly, it seemed like Root just didn't give an eff anymore. And then in the end, when she was driving off with Reese, she almost seemed like she was trying to convince herself Shaw was still alive, because the alternative would be unbearable. And speaking of Bear, that twisted the knife even further, him looking all eggcited when Finch and Root were talking about Shaw.

And wait, when did the ISA have so many cute female operatives? I figured Shaw was the exception to the rule!

Agent Carter- Woah, weird, I almost didn't recognize Bridget Regan at first! But wow, that whole ep was a cluster-eff for poor Peggy. To save Jarvis, she has to purposely screw up an interrogation, which gets her chewed out in front of everybody, and making it harder for her to get respect. And then she finds the stolen Stark tech, but since she can't exactly bring it in herself, she has to call it in.

She and Jarvis end up beating a thug, but have to leave him for the SSR. So jerk guy is in charge of taking him back to the office, but ends up getting killed along with the guy when the baddies decide to tie up lose ends. Jerk guy was a jerk, but it was still sad to see him get killed. Of course, he was kinda lousy at his job if he got bumped from behind while transporting a prisoner and wasn't suspicious, just getting out of the car with his guard down.

And to make matters worse, the guy's death hits her hard, even tho she didn't even like the guy, and she has to sit there while the bossman says its not only Stark's fault, but is suspicious of the anonymous tip they got and thinks it was a trap. So not only is she failing to help Stark, sitting there for that speech prolly makes it think its her fault.

It was nice tho, that even though she had to be dismissive of Angie earlier because she had spy stuff to do, that in the end, she was able to go to the diner and was able to vent to her friend.

Degrassi- That was kinda underwhelming. So Imogen tells Eli he's the father of Claire's baby, having overheard it from Jenna and Ali. So, he immediately goes to see Claire. Who suddenly remembers he's kinda a nutcase, and thinks, maybe he might not be the greatest father. (And ha, she suspects he may have been behind the school fire!) But he seems excited about the prospect, and seems super helpful, so she's willing to let him be a part of their lives.

Miles is the firestarter, by accident, upset by his abusive father and the rest of his family being on their dad's side. But "luckily" Frankie, Winston, and Zoe almost die in the fire, the former to trying to scare the latter into admitting she was behind Degrassi nudes. They all survive, but it does have the effect of exposing the Miles patriarch as a jerk to the twins when he is less concerned with Frankie surviving and more with not causing a scene. Also, Zoe does end up fessing up to Degrassi nudes because of Frankie telling her off while they were trapped.

Poor Becky though, she gets a chance to replace Zoe when she was trapped by Frankston, and magically knows the choreography, and shines during the competition, only for the fire to force everyone to evacuate right as they finish their number.
