TV commentary:
Dexter- God, everyone on this show is an idiot!
1) Vogel is an idiot for not thinking her son is a dangerous psychopath. Well, she knew he was dangerous, but she's supposed to be the psychopath whisperer, she has to know she can't really fix him. And she seemed so manipulative and in control when she was first introduced, but then when she was trying to hide the fact that Dexter was coming, she has a terrible poker face? Also, if Zack was killed in Saxon's secret hideout, and not at Dexter's, how the hell was Zack able to sneak that clue on the underside of Dexter's desk if he was dead. Or are they claiming he was still alive when Saxon dropped him off at Dexter's even though his brain was cut open and he managed to leave the clue as he was dying?
2) Hannah is an idiot, because despite her face being plastered all over the news, she makes no effort to at least cut or dye her hair so she isn't easily recognizable! Also, could she try and be more suspicious at the emergency room?!
3) Dexter is an idiot, because he's fleeing the country with a known fugitive, but is taking his time and getting his affairs in order- giving notice, selling his place, etc, etc. He's not moving for a new job opportunity, he's going on the run. Time is of the essence. And sure enough, the Marshall's wheels start spinning when he hears Dex is leaving his job. Its like, leaving town at the same time as a fugitive he used to be involved with was seen in Miami and disappeared again?
4) Batista is an idiot, for not figuring out what was so obvious when the Marshall was asking how suspicious it was that Dex was leaving.
5) Harrison is an idiot, because he doesn't know how to use a treadmill. Dumb little shit!
6) Jamie is an idiot, for thinking it would ever work out with Quinn. I think he was being truthful when he said it wasn't about Deb. I mean, while I think he still has feelings for Deb, I don't think it would've worked out for them. He's the ex-alky, eff-up cop/ex-partner of her older brother. Like he was only into it because she's a hot young thing!
And what the eff, Deb is upset when Dex says he's running off, but then Quinn is all, "Sometimes change is good!" so somehow Deb is totally fine with it now! And even though Dex should just run, he wants to protect Evelyn (though if Harry is to be believed, its because he's afraid to actually run off with Hannnah and start a new, non-serial killery life). He can't leave without it being undone. And now that Vogel's son killed her, I guess he's stuck in Miami until he gets revenge.
