TV commentary:

True Blood- Ah, I was right. Terry was the death that was hinted at. I mean, you knew the death was going to have to do with the sniper guy he asked to kill him, because even with Billith and Warlow running around, and the Governor and Sarah Newlin running at the vamps hard, and Alcide barely in control of his pack and there's the potential for death everywhere, that just screamed disaster. And sure enough, he acts all sketchy to Lafayette, who calls Arlene, who asks help from Holly, who gets her gay vampire friend to glamer Terry better by making him forget his PTSD.

Unfortunately, that also made him forget he asked his friend to kill him unexpectedly, so he ends up getting sniped outside of Merlottes taking out the trash. Speaking of, Nicole finally talks some sense into Sam, who turns Emma to her grandma. But, Alcide and his dad manage to track him down also, but Sam convinces Alcide to let him and Nicole go, but he's lost his Shreveport/Bon Temps privileges.

Jason manages to get himself assigned to the vamp concentration camp by bragging about all the vamps he's killed. Which, even though he was telling the truth, ah'm skeptical all these other guys would be in such rapt attention of his stories. Like, wouldn't they be, "You stormed the Authority and killed a bunch of vamps?! You're an effin' liar!" Because that sounds way too fantastical. He marches into the HQ of the vampire leadership and killed a bunch of vamps? The jig is almost up when Sarah shows up, but he blackmails her by threatening to say they did it to the Governor.

He's a little too cocky though, because like how could he not guess that Sarah would try to get back at him. She does, by making him watch a "copulation study" with Jess as one of the subjects. But lucky for her, the guy in the study is no rapist, and refuses, despite negative reinforcement from UV lights.

I did take glee in the vamp stuff- Billith quaffing the vial of Warlow's blood and then marching into the Governor's mansion in the middle of the day, letting them ineffectually shoot him, before mind controlling them to shoot each other then feeding on the governor and ripping his head off.

Or Eric setting his escape in plan into motion after they injected Nora with Hep V (I was wondering about the Tru Blood Factory a few episode ago, I guess we know now), calling Willa (And I loved Tara's wicked grin when she realized it was on), and she calls over the guard who threatened to rape her, glamers him (just rip those contacts off, instructed Tara), then gets into Eric and Nora's cell to get them out of there. (Oh, as for the Pam vs Eric cliffhanger from last week, they pretended they were about to go at it, but quickly charged the murder holes and killed the guards who had their guns trained on them, then postured before they were taken back to their cells. That's why Nora got injected with Hep V- the Gov wanted revenge, but he couldn't make Eric feel the loss of a daughter since Pam's psychiatrist was sweet on her, so he settled for his sister)

As for Sookie, Warlow rescued her, and Sookie takes him to faerie to prevent him from being summoned to Billith. He explains the contract was to make her his wife, and then he would turn her and they would only feed on each other forever and ever. (That's creepy!) But after all that's happened, she decides, eff it, and goes for it?

Dexter- Well, that was an interesting development. Vogel works on Deb, shows her tapes of Harry, but then she learns Harry killed himself after finding out about Dex's first kill. She meets up with Dex, seeming like she wants to make up. But then she drives them both off the road and into a lake. A bystander saves her, but looks like she can't kill Dex after all, and goes to save him.

And that's not Dex's only problem. He finds out who the brain guy is, a former patient of Vogel's whom she recommended get an operation to remove a lesion from his brain she believed was causing his... tendencies. Doesn't look like it work. He almost gets the jump on Dex when Dex breaks into his place, but luckily he overhears Dex talking to Vogel, so he decides to not ambush Dex. He does leave, killing the girl he had prisoner. Well, almost killed her, he ended up stuffing her in a cabinet, which ended up compressed her wound, leaving her alive long enough for Dex to find her and take her to the hospital.

Quinn does pass his sergeants exam. But Matthews still thinks he's the wrong person for the job and tells Batista its ultimately his decision, but it would prolly be unwise to pick him. And Quinn beating up the cop who found Deb drunk the other day at Angel's bar doesn't do anything to boost his confidence in his choice.

Oh and Dex's new neighbor is played by Haley from OTH, so obviously she has a bigger role to play.
