ME blather- Finally got a Juggernaut! Colored him purple and named him Shockwave (which would work better if Juggernauts still had the one light instead of the three smaller ones). Anyways, finally have someone who can actually use that Spitfire I got so long ago for the Spitfire use challenges (finished the assault rifle mastery version already, the one under Reckoning mastery will prolly pop the next time I play) That, and its been oh so satisfying frying those phantom b*tches for all the times they sync-killed me. I mean, I was getting some revenge with my batarian soldier when they would bounce off my blade armor and I give them a batarian falcon punch or some ballistic blades to the face. But its just more amusing knowing they can't do anything to me.
I also got the Turian ghost, he's a pretty fun and interesting infiltrator to play. Unlike the AIU, who gets the cloak bonus to shotguns, the asari, who gets the cloak bonus to her biotic powers, and the rest of the infiltrators, who get it to snipers, he gets it to assault rifles, which have a lot more room for error. Plus, realized rather than using the stim packs as an attack boost, they were useful in an emergency- if my shields got taken down, they were a quick and easy way to quickly fill them back up with out wasting an ops survival pack. Alas, still don't have a phoenix vanguard or a salarian infiltrator, which are the last two characters I want to try and play. (Also missing the krogan soldier, volus mercenary, geth trooper, and the batarian brawler)
Did also try out the asari valkyrie. Like the Fury she has annihilation field. She's more sturdy than the Fury, since she's a sentinel and has tech armor. Though I did have a couple of problems initially where I would accidentally detonate tech armor instead of my annihilation field (or firing off warp). But really, annihilation field is definitely a fun power.
TV commentary:
Transformers: Prime- Huh, so Smokescreen is actually a Hot Rod analogue?
Are they trying to copy the movie? I mean, first Ultra Magnus shows up, now Optimus is dying and says Smokescreen should be the new leader?
Heh, they kinda make Ultra Magnus a by the book humorless dick. I'm glad the show is getting more characters though.
Nikita- A-ha!
So Amanda did mess with Alex's brain! Alex is secretly leading a mutiny and she ends up shooting Fletch. Its interesting how Amanda did it though- Alex seems to be obsessed with the idea that Division will destroy them all and wants to "free" everyone from it clutches. It fits with her character's motivations, so it not like she's doing a 180.
And weird, Michael got a new hand from some secret organization that wants to use Division for some reasons unknown.
Degrassi- Heh, this was both amusing and sad.
That skeevy guy tried to get Maya to blow him, but Katie and their mom show up and Katie is all, "What the eff!" At least they caught them before she did it, because how awkward would it have been if they were just a few minutes later?
Anyways, she posted the vid from the party on her facerange page, which throws a wrench in her audition to some fancy music program, because they look up stuff like that and it violates their code of conduct policy. So between that and her mom and sister walking in on her, she finally has her breakdown and admits Cam's suicide really messed her up. But not before making a hilariously sassy comment about "Matlin girls always getting wild at the Torres house!" I always find it amusing when they actually do reference former relationships on this show, since there's such a high turnover rate with these couples.
And surprise, surprise, Drew wins the presidency. But he wants to take the job seriously and asks Claire to be his veep. She does not however get back together with Eli, even though Connor worked hard to try and get them back together. But at least Connor's still together with Jenna.
