TV commentary:

Torchwood- Hmm, is it me, or was the sex scene with Jack and the random bartender surprisingly graphic? I mean, I'm surprised TPTB weren't all "OMG, gay sex!" in general and cut it. I mean, I guess the British version of the episode does cut it. Which I find a little surprising that the Brits would do that when the Americans didn't. I mean, we're fine with wonton violence but I always thought America was a little more prudish than other countries when it came to sex on TV. Still, I'm kinda curious if they interspersed scenes of Mekhi Phifer screwing Hispanic doctor lady at the same time because they couldn't just show gay sex, they had to throw straightness in there so things wouldn't be too gay for the audience.

True Blood- How old is Sookie supposed to be?! It kinda weirds me out that she was all, "Oh, when I was a kid and was sick, I'd stay home and watch episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Charmed!" Man, does that make me feel old then.

Also hilarious? Portia's attempts to get back with Bill giving like loads of evidence why them getting together is fine and incest isn't so bad and all that jazz. But Bill glamered her to stay away, so I guess we're done with her? But we weren't done with spy chick Bill had in the Wiccan circle? Alex Breckenridge was kinda hot when she was trying to be all glasses girl, but she also looks pretty cute in the security staff cap.

Other things. Interesting, so Tommy faked being choked out by his pops and got the jump on him when they thought he was out. He kills his dad, and then accidentally kills his mom when she comes at him in a rage. So I guess he's a skinwalker now? I wonder if he realizes it. Or if Sam does, as Tommy runs to him for help. And what do you know, getting rid of the bodies turns into a bonding experience for the two of them! Though I'm sure once Tommy does realize he can skinwalk, it will cause trouble between the two.

Heh, the Jessica/Jason dream sequence was kinda hot. And hilarious when dream-Hoyt showed up all, "wTF, Jason?!" and then it turn freaky when Jessica briefly turns into Hoyt.

Interesting, Alcide might be getting his own plot thread not involving Sookie as he'd been in Shreveport for four months and he and Debbie and didn't register with the local pack master. Alcide tells him to eff off. Which doesn't seem wise even though he's way bigger than the guy, because wolves tend to hang out in packs.

Oh, and Tara hangs with Sookie all sad because her lesbo lover in NOLA found out she was lying about her name and so she dumps all the stuff she'd been feeling while Sookie had been gone. Unfortunately for them, Eric wakes up at sunset and blunders into their conversation, leaving Tara terribly betrayed. She's understandably pissed, since Eric is a bastard, though amnesiac Eric feels kinda bad when he hears all that. So after Tara leaves, he tries to too. But Sookie is all, that was in the past, you're a nice guy and I like you now, so they kiss. And right after she had visited Marnie to spy on her earlier that day and Marnie channeled Grams and Grams warned Sookie that this new Eric was only temporary and not to fall for him!

So also feeling betrayed? Bill. Thanks to Kat's help the vampires capture Marnie. After some interrogation, which includes some glamering, they realize she doesn't seem to know how to undo the spells she cast. And that the witches are becoming a threat. One that is hard to deal with since Nan is banning vamp on human violence. He gathers his sheriffs, and one of them is skeptical at first. But another one is from the 1600s, and tells a tale of a witch they burned at the stake (possibly the same one possessing Marnie) in her death throes beckoning nearly 200 vamps in a 20 mile radius to rise up in the sun, killing them.

So now the sheriffs are gung ho about killing Marnie, but Bill tries to tell them their options are limited given the no-kill ban they have. So, Pam gets pissed and talks about her face (which is sadly getting grosser as time goes on) and then accidentally lets slip that Eric is at Sookie's with his memory erased. Bill feels quite betrayed at this, given Sookie lied to his face. So he runs over there. Man, will he be pissed when he walks in on them making out!
