Blah
I've been so busy lately and yet now that I want to tell you about it, I can't think of what I've been busy doing. Sheesh. I finished almost all of my Christmas shopping, I just have to get one small thing for Mama and Daddy then I am done. Everything is already wrapped and in my closet ready for the tree next month. I've been busy every weekend helping my friend Crissy get her house ready to sell because they got orders for Alaska. We've been painting, ripping out carpet, putting down wooden floors and every other imaginable thing. It's been a nightmare. I feel for her. I'll be going through all that this time next year. Sheesh. She's so far behind and her husband isn't helping much. Yesterday we were painting ceilings, both of us just a hair under 5 ft tall and we were the ones painting the ceilings. Both the husbands are 6 ft and they were the ones NOT painting the ceilings. I still might choke Zoom for that one, as soon as my back stops hurting from the ceiling painting :D
WE had an amazing Halloween. Both of the kids were anime characters and just looked adorable. Crissy and her husband came over, she helped me pass out candy and he went with Zoom and the kids to trick-or-treat. We got over 50 trick-or-treaters which was a record for here, the year before I only got 6. My sister and her kids showed up after they hit her neighborhood so I got to see them all dressed up. They didn't get much candy so I sent them out into my neighborhood and they came back with full bags :D My nephew spent the night with me and apparently I'm a bad Aunt because he is now obsessed with Korean and Japanese music :D Finally someone watched my shows with me and liked it! I love my nephew.
Other than that not much has been going on I guess. I've been trying to get my winter stuff out and washed up but of course the minute I'm ready suddenly it gets warm again. Stupid weather. Make up your mind so I can have less mess in my room! Tomorrow I am going to vote and I have parent/teacher conferences with both the kids teachers. I wanted to early vote but the lines were so long I decided to wait and just be there when the polls open tomorrow. Should be fun right? Right? Go Obama! ALright, I'm off like a cheap skirt...later all.
