A Winner I Am!

Sorry I haven't updated for a while, but I went on a second trip to Buffalo. Seems that my parents are interested in it a lot. I really didn't care that much, but after going again, I have zero regrets. This time, I got a much better look at clubs, the dorms, the whole place in general. But before I talk about that, let me post about the tourney that took place over a week ago:

The SCII Tourney:
The Tourney was shorted from 10 rds. to 8.
1) Some Italian dude named Joe who used Xianghua. I defeated him with Yunsung, and the 4B!!!
2) Indian guy nicknamed "Steb". Used Voldo. Defeated by Nightmare and Flapjack!
3) A Greek girl I believe, Cassandra. Used Cassandra (What a coincidence...) Defeated by Bunnyman and the PT!!
4) Irish trash-talker named Steve. Grr.... Used Nightmare. Broke out the Man with a Stick for this one! (6B!!!)
5) Chinese guy named Daniel. Used Mitsurugi. Defeated by Yunsung and the Warrior's Step!
6) A Filipino named Alexander. Used Ivy. Defeated by Cervantes and Pirate's Tactics!!
7) A cool and collected Korean (Nickname: "Squall") who used Nightmare. I used Yunsung again. It was really close, but I lost. TO A 2K!!!!!! GODDAMN IT! OF ALL THE MOVES OUT THERE, IT WAS FU***** 2K!?!?!?! Btw, he reminded me of the flashy Nightmare in the video that ExMachina showed me. You don't think... nahhh....
8) Competed for 3rd place in this battle. No holding back. Opponent was a Japanese dude with hair that reminded me of Trowa. Anyway, he used Taki. (Not as well as Griever, though...) I used the Man with a Stick for the second time. Again it was close, but I won with, yes, a tricky canceled "Festival of the Damned" combined and trapped in the Building bridges.

I was 3rd place. Not bad. I walked out of the tourney $250 dollars richer. Correction, I RAN out... It was Easter Sunday, and if I dared miss the mass, my parents would kill me. lol

University of Buffalo:
What a visit. I was able to get a tour. But it was more than a tour. One of the students agreed to show all the clubs, buildings, and what was life like in a dorm. The student's name was Brian, and he was a Flip. First, I got a good look of all the clubs. He introed me to all the sports club. Then he showed me the "DDR club", which I didn't meet last time I was there. I met the 'Guru', who was REALLY GOOD at DDR. Much better than I was a couple of years ago, when I didn't put on so much weight. We even compared my "50-step Plan" and his, "Way the of DDRist." We then saw that both of us had things to remodel in our own plans. After saying goodbye, We went to the Cafeteria, ate some food. Big place. Even has a lounge on the second floor to hand out and play VGs or make programs, or just hang out. After lunch, we explored some of the classrooms, and they were big. After practically seeing everything, there was nothing left to see except the dorms. We went in and I saw a piano on the second floor. Awesome!! I can practice while in College. When we went into the rooms, It was pretty small, but nice and comfortable. The living room was occupied by other Asians who were playing Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. After seeing that, I broke out my own "Joey deck" and had some fun. By the time I was finished, it was running late. I had to get home in time for the party. I wouldn't want to miss that. After saying farewell, he gave me his Blue-Eyes White Dragon. He said he had 4, and he only needed 3. I thanked him, and I gave him my Luster Dragon. I have 2 anyway. After leaving campus, I thought to myself: "What a great place. But will I be distracted by all this from my studies?" I really don't know...."

But still, it was a great experience.
