I have the "hard" sheet music for Bridge Over Troubled Water. I remember being freaked out at all the sharps and flats, and thinking it was so impossibly difficult-looking that never even tried to play it. Yeah....after having to sit through people learning it for 4yrs of choir, and having to play it a couple times in band as well, I think I've earned the right. ;)

OK, you've earned the right to be a book-burning Hitler and a culture-cleansing Mao if you want to be. ;)

I can see how people learning it in Choir would be tough. Seems like it's got a pretty big vocal range and not the easiest piece to sing well.

It isn't really that difficult, tbh. It's more that a HS choir means having to relearn things every year because of the freshmen. Every. Year.
