Donner Lake Swim
I just finished the Donner Lake Swim from the Sierra Nevada Masters. 2.7 miles. Water temp: 69° Truckee, CA. Altitude: 5933 ft.
It was difficult to finish, and I had some major doubts before and especially during the race about whether or not I could finish. But persistence paid off and I finished respectably! :3
This was my first swimming event of any sort. Unlike at the 24 Hour Fitness, folks at swim events don't make fun of you for wearing Speedos. :P
