Summer fields and lightning bugs
Wow, so I was reading rynndragon's post and was amazed at how long ago that feels.. like another life time. So much has happened... Well, I did my comps and they weren't too bad. Won't know the results for awhile though. Now I have to work on the oral dissertation thingy, which needs to be done by August. I should get started sometime soon, especially now that my lab is being turned into a construction zone till Wednesday, making it impossible to do anything super constructive like I was hoping for. I was so geared up to do a ton of stuff, bah!
Bluescales will be visiting in a two weeks and a day, which makes me squee with delight, to say the least. My only wish is he could stay longer 6.6. Also, have to steal Rynn away again sometime soon and force him to visit us and be subject to horrifying things with no end. It's the law, you see.
What else.. err.. not much really. Life is a lot better without classes breathing down my back. So, gunna spend my new free time doing reading, mental exercises, mauling people, all that great stuff.
