Went to the Shepherds Bush Empire with tippex79 last night to see Jenny Lewis
Before the main event, we had a great support slot from Jonathan Rice. For those of you that have seen Walk the Line, he played Roy Orbison. I'm probably not the first, but i'm predicting big things for him, so keep your eyes peeled!
Jenny's set itself was simply wonderful. She has a fantastic voice that really lends itself well to the type of folk/country stuff that she was singing, and the Watson twins were excellent as backing. As, i have to say, were us the audience with our coin striking percussion section!
