Office Fun

For those of you who don't know, I work as a graphic designer at a small web-application company in Atlanta. I never expected myself to be puttering away at a cubicle, but alas, I am. However, I enjoy my job, and at times, find myself entertained by my co-workers. Take one of my more technology illiterate bosses. Here's a rough recap of an interaction today.

Boss: Hey, Michael. I'm having a problem with my wireless mouse.
Me: Yeah? How can I help?
Boss: Well, I replaced the mouse batteries, but it still doesn't work. I looked online, and it said something about the driver's maybe being corrupted.
Me: Aah, so you want me to re-install them?
Boss: Yes, please.
*Follows boss to office*
Me: Hmm. Here, lemme see that mouse.
Boss: Okay.
Me: *turns mouse over, presses the reset button, and tries mouse. Still doesn't work.*
Boss: See? So you need to go to Control Panel.
Me: Weird. Okay. *press reset button again* Control panel, right? *start using mouse, which works now*
Boss: Huh? How are you doing that?
Me: *clueless* What do you mean how am I... oh! Sorry, forgot. Control Panel, not My Computer. *keeps using mouse*
Boss: *stares at me* No! The mouse!
Me: ... oh. Uh, yeah. Reset button.
