Life is funny sometimes. As a parent I am reliving all of my childhood adventures again through Cadence. It is a shock and adjustment at some of the things we attend, because as a young child it leaves you awe. We took Cadie to the circus yesterday. It was an enjoyable event but disapointing because I am now an adult and it isn't as magical as it was 20+ years ago. But I shifted my focus over to my beautiful blue-eyed girl... her jaw was dropped open, her eyes were wild with amazement and every once in a while she'd giggle at the funny antics of the Ring Master and his sidekick. She thought it was the greatest thing in the world that elephants could dance. She wanted to bring home a "big kitty" (tiger). She even yelled "be careful!!!' to the man walking on the tight-rope.
Life is beautiful. Children are beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest of the world through my childrens eyes.
