So far this week...

I have:

**Finished Michael Thomas Ford's Full Circle.  As venusunfolding said, it is not as good as his first two, but I still enjoyed it.  I covers a 50something span in the lives of three gay men who as they try to find their happiness. The thing I love dmost was how covered the history of the gay movemtn over the last half of the 20th century.

**Started Josh Kilmer Purcell's I Am Not Myself These Days. I have had it for a while, but hadn't gotten around to reading it.  I'm only a few chapter's in, but it is quite a good read.  I think it will be a fast read too.  I read the first few chapters in class while my students were doing a peer review workshop.

**Watched the first disc of season 3 of Dante's Cove.  What a fun show!!  LOL My only complaint is that Charlie david got rid of his hot scruffy look.  Granted he is still really hot, but that longish hair, five o'clock shadow look was to die for!!! He's my favorite.  Looks like Kevin is finally growing some balls, too. He was too much of a whiner in season 1 & 2. Reichen is in this new season. he is way too stiff in his acting.

**Taken Aunt Nancy to the hairdresser and the mall. She treated me to dinner at Judy's Castle, a local homecookin' restaurant, afterward. That was the best country fried staek and gravy since I left Lexington.

**Prepped for my last real class of summer school.  Monday is the final, an in-class essay.

**Hung out with my friend Angie, who is also my assistant manger at work.

**Finished a Mary Jane Clark mystery on cd.

The big deal this week is work Friday night. I am scheduled to work from 4 pm til 1 am.  We are having a release party for the new Stephanie Myers book in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. It is to be a vampire prom party. I have to dig through my Halloween boxes a little early this year. My manager wants me and Angie to come to work dressed up, so we can "generate buzz." I don't relish the idea of being in makeup for nearly nine hours. Plus driving  there in that heat won't be a walk in the park either. I told Angie to try to talk her out of it. We'll see.  I just hope a bunch of mouthy teenagers don't show up.

Tuesday starts my 2 and a half week break betwen classes. No real plans yet. I hope to get some more pleasure reading in. I'll have to go to a couple of meetings that week before school starts and I will work a coupleof shifts at the store each week, but the rest of the time is all mine. I'll probably drive down to NFChris's a few times.  Maybe I'll even see if KFChris has a free weekend and drive up to Louisville.
