Updates, Anniversaries and Stuff
Website updated for today, and also the rest of the week too. I've had this picture on my harddrive for over a year... I just haven't coloured it because it wouldn't be appropriate in the winter and last year around this time we were crazy..! I'm... vaguely pleased with the colouring. There were certain parts of the original that I couldn't salvage gracefully but hopefully they don't glare too badly.
Also yes, today is our 4th anniversary. <3 To celebrate we went and got her car serviced. XD
We've also been taking it easy, and we ordered each others' presents yesterday because it took me that long to get money and I hadn't decided on what I wanted until just then. HA! But I spent 7 hours yesterday out in the yard mowing, weeding, mulching and generally being filthy. But now the front walk is nice and clean again and her Japanese Maples are weeded and mulched. The garden has been HEAVILY weeded and mulched with grass clipping as well. Lots of squash, zucchini and such so far. We're looking forward to a lot of pumpkins and tomatoes too.
I need to do more arting of my own as well... I'm getting more confident while doing the Satyr's colouring and learning as I do her inking. As, in the grand tradition of inker's and colourists everywhere, I generally do a lot of cleaning up with the original line work to fit the webcomic style we've developed. Some day I'll have to show the comparison. :D
Edit: I also updated my personal art page... mostly old stuff but I don't think I put it all up here before..? Lots of Pokemon and D&D stuff.
