FIRST GIG
Yea yesterday was the bands first gig. The morning of, the band is all calling each other except for koncewzky (god damn that name man). We all craped before so we didint do it in our pants lol. We did not have a band name that day so we decide to meet 12:15 instead of 12:30. Naturally that doesnt work. We, or really i (being late as usual) get to the park at 12:30, setting up and talking. Of course it had to be freezing cold and we had to be last so we couldnt move our hands. We used hot water from the bathroom. Didnt work. lol I was wearing my mommy's gloves :) Made me feel special. Anyway, the other bands are really nice and our groupies show up followed by john fiscella and sean k. not in that order, John was last. We wait in agony while the other bands perform, i mean AGONY, especially while that guy was addicted to ranting lol "his gay meter is going up past liberachi" - fiscella. Good man he is. We ran around in costumes for 5 minutes. lol good times. Then we realized when we were on stage that we needed a name. We decided proffesor apple (yours truly) and the assorted fruits, as a joke. Unfortunaltey it caught on... We played but all the music was falling off the stands and i didnt memorize the lyrics so you can guess the rest. That was untill my mom saved the day with a clipboard. Then i broke a string during Sweet Home Alabama and had to get another guitar and run offstage. It was terrifying but in retrospect im proud i didnt flip out lol. It exploded from the bridge. Pretty kool huh? Yea. We played like 65% what we could have done if everything went right. Ladies and gentlemen: MURPHY'S LAW lol good times. Still, after some lady asked for our # for a bor mitzvah, and i made nice with her lol (i think she liked me 2 much) A lil wierd, but it was a fun gig.
