Seriously? I mean, if Mordred will turn to the "dark side" before episode 12 then she'll find out in the next ep for sure. Why not just have her find out now? And I really really hope they don't kill off Alator. This thing with killing anyone who knows about Merlin's magic except Gaius and his mom is geting ridiculous...
TBH, the only reveal I care about is Arthur learning the truth, anyone else knowing just does not cut it for me. As for Mordred, I suspect he will not tell Morgana. He is playing his own game. In episode 2 he said he sworn that he will never be part of another man’s game. He will side with Morgana, but he will keep his knowledge to himself. I may be wrong, but that’s my opinion.
I agree with you on "killing anyone who knows"...:(
I’m still very sceptical about “all questions answered”. It kind of leads towards it, there are hints of Arthur asking questions at long last, but we were misled so many times before that I do not want to keep my hopes up.
Up until a few days ago I was certain that there will be no reveal in the end. That only Morgana will find out Merlin is Emrys, that she'll use it to trap him in the Crystal Cave so that he will be too late to save Arthur and that in the end Arthur will die and Merlin will be condemned to live eternally knowing he failed his destiny. To me that is the worst end this story could have. It's simply awful and renders the entire show pointless. After the cast interviews I find myself a bit more optimistic. I'm currently hoping for a magic reveal to Arthur, perhaps even Arthur surviving Camlann. I know I'm probably going to have my heart crushed at Xmas Eve, but still... Can't help myself.
I do not entirely believe the inteviews. They are saying what they are expected to say. Both bradley & Colin said as much regarding the end of the show conspiracy. Producers think they "wrapped it up nicely", but it may be a totally different story from fan's point of view. I want to be proved wrong though!!!
I think the reveal is THE most important item to be covered, too. Anything else is secondary to me. If Arthur dies, well, he did in the legend, but he always knew about Merlin - this surely must happen. As for Mordred, he clearly told Morgana that such hatred as hers would never succeed. I believed him. I also have been more hopeful since the cast has been interviewed that we will not be completely cheated. Although I think it is impossible to cover everything in such a short time now. If Colin thinks that the fans will be happy, I have to trust him, hoping he knows what we want!
