Is this MO admitting their incompetence and letting the fans take over, or being sarcastic? Why do I think they are being sarcastic *and* enjoying it? And how on Earth can you make an episode poster when you have no images from the episode itself??
Cynical me says that this is a way to get fans to do their artwork for them. Hopeful me says that they understood that they could do better and giving the fans a chance to shine.
I can't even laugh any more, D. I just can't *believe* MO. I just can't. They have really bested themselves at failing. And I repeat, how can you make an *ACCURATE* poster image without using images from the *episode* itself?? How??? It's utterly stupid!
And there comes the sarcastic part, you ask fans to make posters out of only a title, make them guess and then what, laugh at how off they went, because the episode was not exactly what the title meant? "The Wicked Day", there you go, what poster would you have made out of that title and been accurate, had you known nothing???
I can't believe someone actually pays MO for this b.s. I just can't.
Actually if you look at the Colinwebsite poster, they did an awesome job with images that were available on Merlin's keep and other sources. Plus the poster doesn't have to be accurate at all (unless you think Gwen's boobs are Arthur's Bane).
Plus I think most people would know 'The Wicked Day' would be a serious one so there would be serious pictures.
It wouldn't have to give anything away in the episode (and I don't expect MO to do that) but they would be going for the feel of the episode, not what's actually in it.
"The Fires of Idirsholas", "The Castle Of Fyrien", "A Herald of the New Age", "The Moment of Truth", "Sweet Dreams" to name a few.
Can you actually imagine and be accurate about the feel of the episode just from the title? If there are promotional images from Merlin's Keep, yes, it could work. But just from a title? And be correct? With such vague titles? Really?
---(unless you think Gwen's boobs are Arthur's Bane). ---- Yes, I think they are. They and Mordred's Eyes distract Arthur from the truth and that is that Merlin is always right and should be taken seriously and rewarded for frik's sake! :PP
I think we have to admit some people have bad taste and they would probably like it. Apparently, Merlin official is a run by bad taste people who enjoy people have similar bad taste with them. LOL.

Anyway, if this challenge means we'll be getting episode titles early I'm ok with whatever they set up.
