Filming in Wales today
bennyctfc Just seen them filming Merlin in the forest of Dean
Since I'm still behind on pretty much everything I can't tell how many different/identical Round Table interviews (probably varying in filming angle and sound quality) with the actors are floating around on YT/elsewhere but I absolutely adore the one with Colin
Geek Syndicate posted (there are interviews with
JMurphy,
Angel and
Katie as well and an additional vid with
highlights from the signing session on July 15).

SciFiNow has "news" about Morgana's ambitions in S5 (
cultbox also posted a write-up of the article)
Merlin Series 5: Morgana is out for revenge
Actress Katie McGrath reveals Morgana’s evil plans for Camelot in Merlin series 5
When Merlin returns for its fifth series, Camelot would have lept forward in time three years. Actress Katie McGrath reveals Morgana has spent the majority of that time locked up.
“For Morgana’s story, the most important part is what you don’t see, the time off,” she says. “You discover that she has spent quite a large part of those three years imprisoned, so Morgana’s worst fear about what would happen if anyone found out that she was magical, has come true.”
Naturally, she’s livid about it. So much so, she’s changed her gameplan: “It’s no longer just about getting the throne for her now, it’s about revenge,” McGrath continues. “It’s her personal crusade for her to get back at the people she thinks have done this to her, and I think she thinks Arthur is behind a lot of that. If you thought she was bad before… she’s badder.”
Last year, Morgana was busily plotting with Arthur’s uncle Agravaine, but now he’s dead she’ll have more time to hang out with the rest of the gang. “This year I’m getting to interact with Angel (Coulby) and Colin (Morgan) and Bradley (James) a lot more. I was isolated last year. In a very clever way, I get to interact with the people in Camelot this year.”
Merlin will return to BBC One this autumn.

Katie vs. Emma Watson <<
This has nothing to do with Merlin but since I watch the show I found it interesting that they cast an Arthurian character for S2 of ABC's Once Upon A Time.
Once Upon A Time Adds Lancelot
Amid all the other new fairy tale characters that are being added to Once Upon A Time season two (Including Sleeping Beauty‘s Aurora and Mulan) comes news that a character from British mythology will be joining the cast too - Sir Lancelot.
Hmm, okay, Disney did make an animated version of The Sword In The Stone (and a lot of the Once Upon A Time characters are based squarely on the Disney versions) but Lancelot wasn’t in that. Actually, we’re a bit miffed that our great British folk tales are being treated treated like fairy tales. What next? Andromeda showing up? Thor? Sinbad? Friar Tuck? Jack The Ripper?
Still, it’s happening, so we’re stuck with it. And according to TVLine the guy playing him will be Sinqua Walls, who recently has had a recurring role as werewolf Boyd in Teen Wolf.
The character will apparently be introduced as a “sword for hire with nothing to lose,” a one-time proud member of King Arthur’s Round Table who has since been banished, tearing him away from his true love (Guinevere, presumably). Sources tell TVLine that Lancelot will appear in at least two episodes.
