♦ Fulfilled with a passion for performing from an early age I availed of any opportunity to take to the stage. At 16 I decided to turn my ambition to reality and enrolled on a Performing Arts [Acting] course at Belfast Met.
♦ I loved my time at the College, graduating in 2004 after which I studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland [formerly the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama]. I made my professional debut in the title role of Vernon God Little at the Young Vic in London.
♦ I have just finished filming the fourth TV series of the fantasy Merlin, in which I play the title role. I have also appeared in Doctor Who and the Catherine Tate Show and I am about to embark on the publicity trail for a movie called Parked. I would encourage others to follow their passion and dreams like I did... who knows where it will take you?
