In the first two episodes, Gwen falls in love with Lance again, they both run away and Merlin needs to comfort Arthur. Beginning of a new era, oh yeah!
Or something like that...
Now, in all seriousness, I'm glad S4 will be more knight-centred. I secretly hope for a Gwaine/Green Knight episode and some Lancelot/Gwen tension. And doesn't Percival have a story of his own (was he the one with the grail?)
Very much looking forward to learning more about the knights and their involvment in helping Arthur to become the great king who one day'll unite the land of Albion. Merlin really could need some help saving his royal pratness' backside every now and then. :P
A set-up for Gwaine/Green Knight would be great and for sure we need more Percival storyline (and yes, he was the one with the grail). I'd also like to see a more detailed Sir Leon storyline and then there's Elyan of course.
It'll be interesting to see how the new knights fit in Camelot's regiment (especially regarding Uther's 'The Knight's Code is everything' attitude) and how f.e. Elyan's knighthood might have an influence on Gwen and her status at the court. Should his knighthood be officially accepted (by Uther) it's rather doubtful that she'd work as a servant any longer. Oh well, let's hope she won't go straight from arranging flowers to simply admire them.
Can't we somehow get every flight back for him cancelled so he has to stay for more episodes? I don't want him to leave again *g* The more knights, the better!
(Re: that comment up there: The thought of Lancelot and Gwen running off make me want a mad spin-off series where Gwen is basically Xena and Lancelot as Gabrielle and I'm really confused by the things my brain comes up with. I'm also sure it'd be brilliant.)
... the things my head does when I'm under stress, seriously ^^"""
Oh, I hope he does! I know he has some other project (can't remember if it was a film or a series) this year as well, so I'm not sure if his schedule will allow for more Merlin goodness. But fingers crossed anyway! :)
He's been cast for JJ Abrams' Alcatraz series. They started filming the pilot last month but so far it's not clear if Fox'll commission a full series. Anyway, filming for another Merlin episode should still be possible.

haha this made me giggle.
I think they need to give Gwen a damn sword or a fight scene like she's been asking(begging) for the last 3 seasons.
