I'm not sure what to think about this finale. I love parts of it and I think I'm going to hate other parts with a vengeance that might kill some of my love for the show. But time will tell.
Well, I know what I think about the first half of the finale and there were only very few things I actually liked. Overall it must've been the most boring, uninspired and repetitive episode this series (I had so many déjà vus, I nearly stopped watching because we saw most of this week's storyline told in other episodes before) and I don't know how they'll manage to make up for it next week. Only 42 minutes left for something epic to happen... :|
*nods* And by the look of it, the epic will be crammed in so tight it might feel really rushed. So as much as I want to see the things in that trailer (with one big exception on a personal level), I do worry it will feel completely off. Pushing things too fast is one of the show's weaknesses.
I do have to say I liked Arthur's reactions at the very end. That was probably the best part.
I totally agree, what was the point of Jarl?? I wanted more on the characters we love, and to move the story along, not a new baddie that was useles taht they escaped from in 5 minutes! Arrrgh. Love the boys but getting madder and madder with the overaall programme. Sorry, shouldn't be so negative but sometimes a girl has to rant a little!
