Bradley James - born in 1984 or 1983, was it even in October?

24/25/26 - Fangirlish ponders about the year when Bradley came into this world.

ETA October 31 2009: thanks to my wonderful darling mrs_leary we now know the exact date, Bradley confirmed October 11 1983 to her! :D [ source]

When I took a look at Bradley's IMDb site today I noticed, that someone changed Bradley's Date of Birth from October 11 1984 to 1983.




On his wikipedia site even October 11 has been eliminated and it only states 1983 as Year of Birth.




So why is that?

First of all: neither IMDb nor Wikipedia are official sites or sources. Everyone who has a registered (and veryfied) account at IMDb can change biography details and everyone who has internet access can make changes at Wikipedia (optionally you can log in with your user name or your IP'll be logged when you edit an article). In general both sites are quite reliable (at least regarding filmographies or birthdates, I'm not talking about the trivia section or message boards at IMDb) and especially Wikipedia tries to prove information with references (f.e. interviews, online articles or the like).
But nonetheless, these sites have no general validity.

Secondly: at the Jonathan Ross Radio Show on September 18 we witnessed the following dialogue:

Jonathan Ross: Colin was born in 86.
Colin Morgan: I was born in 86
Jonathan Ross: Bradley was born in 83.
Bradley James: Yeah.
Jonathan Ross: [to Bradley] So you were 6, that was 6 years before you were born...
Bradley James: Yeah.
Jonathan Ross: [to Colin] ... and 9 years before you were born.
Colin Morgan: Yeah.

My ponders are:

* For more than a year IMDb and Wikipedia stated Bradley's DoB with October 11 1984 and I think many, many sites on the internet adopted this information as an official information. But who was the person who added this particular DoB on IMDb and Wikipedia in the first place?

* Interesting enough the birthdate October 11 1984 has been added to Bradley's wikipedia site on October 11 2008! Coincidence??? Hardly likely.



* On the discussion site for BJ's wikipedia site is the following entry from September 26th 2009 (when they changed the DoB from October 11 1984 to 1983:



So it started on IMDb or what? But who and why and depending on what information?

It's all a bit mysterious and somehow even doubtable that October 11 is Bradley's actual birthday... Unfortunately his Agent's Site doesn't state any information regarding his birthday.

Damn, I'm curious. 1983 seems to be the correct year (it would've been easy for Bradley to correct Wossy if he'd got it wrong, Colin had to do that already, instead Bradley affirmed 1983 twice) but what about October 11???
