ThanetGazette: Game of Thrones stars film new Sky drama in Margate
GAME Of Thrones actor Stephen Dillane is among the stars filming new Sky Atlantic crime drama The Tunnel in Margate.
Cast and crew shot scenes outside Turner Contemporary this morning, which stars Dillane and French actress Clémence Poésy, who appeared in BBC drama Birdsong.
[click to read more]The pair play detectives Karl Roebuck and Elise Wassermann tracking a serial killer on a cross-Channel murder investigation.
Other famous faces on the show include Game of Thrones co-star Joseph Mawle, Tobi Bakare (Silent Witness), Keeley Hawes (Ashes to Ashes) and Liz Smith (The Royle Family).
It is a joint production between Sky and French film firm Canal+, directed by award-winning Dominik Moll and co-written by Ben Richards (Spooks, The Fixer).
