Jeff: Peter is an expert seamstress. And every event is traumatic for Derek.
kaihire: Which of the characters can shake it on the dance floor, and which ones should really just spare everyone the pain and keep it on the sidelines?
Jeff: Stiles can shake it. Derek can slow dance. Scott might need to find some rhythm. Isaac won’t go near a dance floor. Lydia is classically trained. Allison is good but a little uncomfortable. Stilinski would surprise you with his grace. And Peter could beat them all.

Jeff: He knows. Peter always knows. And yes, I grew up on comics. My favorite shows right now are Walking Dead and Breaking Bad.
sinycath: Jeff, during an interview you mentioned that now that you know about Sterek, it would be fun to see how it would affect your writing. Did something like that happened already? Did you came across a scene and stopped to think about it? Did it influence the way you write the scenes with Stiles and Derek?
Jeff: It did make me wonder about certain scenes for these first few scripts. I would not say it has affected the storytelling, though. There has been a long plan in place for certain characters. The path deviates sometimes but the destination remains the same.
jabarbojones: How come we don't see any pictures of you? Your too cute to be behind the scenes all the time!
Jeff: Aww, I hate pics of myself. I tried to have Colton teach me how to take a photo once. He told me to clench my jaw. I still don’t like my pics haha

Jeff: Peter is part of Derek’s pack. They are a very close family. You will definitely have scenes between Derek and Stiles.

Jeff: Yes indeed! And it is a very dark past.
mesita: I'm at that stage where I want to know the nitty gritty details. We know that Matt went to the Lahey residence to do something with a Spiderman comic. Can we get a confirmation that he used to be friends with Isaac, then? Or was he trading comics with members of the swim team? Also, where was Isaac during the whole drowning fiasco?
Jeff: They were friends as kids and drifted apart later on.

Jeff: Yes. But not in the way you might expect.

Jeff: Enough to broaden the story, but not enough to take away from our main characters.

Jeff: It does indeed encourage me. We writers write for an audience. I can’t wait for the fans to see how the characters have grown and begin guessing about the new mystery.

Jeff: They become definite allies this season. There are many changes in store for Derek.
onechan-kitzune: I would be really happy to know what you think about it. So... Stiles is a character really complex, original & very close to me (and many other teens).He is so human. I mean... I am one of those people who study the very nature of people and personalities, when I write I have to mold a well-rounded character, true and unique to itself. Stiles is the one closest to the viewer the series, so it's easy see our reflect in him. Soooo... is our hero going to be happy? xD Don't kill meeeeeeee!
Jeff: Is Stiles going to be happy? Maybe when the show is over. But for now, we need conflict!

littleredgenimhood: Hi Jeff! I was wondering if you could explain anything about how the werewolf gene works in the Teen Wolf universe to settle my curiosity. Can a born wolf have a human parent or a turned parent, or do they both have to be born wolves? Is the werewolf gene dominant or recessive?
Jeff: We stay away from talk of genetics usually. I like to keep things in the world of the mystical rather than the scientific.

Jeff: Let’s just say we’re very interested in perusing the pages of the Bestiary.

Jeff: You may need to be patient. But you will know eventually.

Jeff: Both Boyd and Isaac face very difficult challenges. Especially in their allegiance to Derek.
hoechlin-obrien: Hi Jeff. Thank you for making the time to answer our questions. I’m very excited for season 3. Could you maybe tell us a little more about the flashbacks? Is there a possibility that any of the characters will cross paths in these moments?
Jeff: They will indeed cross paths. In ways that deeply affect the story.
notanotherteenwolfpodcast: Is it hard for you to kill off characters, or do you look at it as being the best thing for the story?
Jeff: It’s difficult, but if the story demands it then we have to. Killing off Victoria was a very hard decision. But the affect it had on Allison and Argent was too good for the drama to not let it happen.
kaihire: It totally looks like Posey would give the most amazing hugs. True/false?
Jeff: Posey’s hugs are legendary. He always give me a huge hello at the start of every day.
kaihire: How is it humanly possible to look at Keahu's dimples and not melt into a pile of goo? Do you need special glasses? Protective lenses?
Jeff: Keahu’s dimples are blinding. It’s a little like staring into the sun.
lowlyminion: Which episode of season 3 was the most fun to write so far?
Jeff: I just finished the flashback episode actually and I have to say it was pretty fun exploring a different Beacon Hills and writing a very different Derek Hale.

kaihire: Can we look forward to learning more about the mythical/evolutionary story of the origin of werewolves? Or will it remain a (delicious) mystery?
Jeff: Expect some interesting answers from the flashback episode.

Jeff: No.
derpwolves: Is there a title for episode 3x05? all the episodes up to 8 have had the titled released but that one. Also: you're the best Jeff, pls.

Jeff: Yes it does.

Jeff: Killing Peter would never have been an option for Scott.
sterekdestiel: Do you have a general outline of the season before you start writing each episode? How much of the outline changes as you go through the individual episodes?
Jeff: We know the complete story before we begin writing any of the episodes. This time we even know the very last scene of 312.
lykoslahey: Will we be seeing more of Sassy Uncle Peter this season?
Jeff: Of course! You'll see him at his sassiest.
alphasexpack: What are your top 5 favorite film/show scores? And do you get a say in what music goes into teen wolf?
Jeff: I approve all music in Teen Wolf almost all of which is chosen by our music supervisor, Laura Webb. My favorite scores at the moment are Dark Knight Rises, Tron, Star Trek 2: Wrath of Khan. Those are what I’m listening to while I write these days.

Jeff: He went to the very same school in fact.

Wow, it starts with a road trip (the first fic) but the journey Derek and Stiles take is much longer than that. This is not an easy fluffy read, it's gorgeous and intense, heart-wrenching and rather painful at times. But I loved it nonetheless. A great read!
