we are collapsed in the act of just being here
change is silly sometimes. particularly when it doesn't feel like change at all.
things that suck:
-i am slowly getting over a really nasty cold that refuses to die.
-MENC is leaving for milwaukee at three am tomorrow
-i miss home
-i will be stuck on campus for spring fling
-lifetime will only pay me seven bucks an hour. ugh
things that don't suck (or, on the contrary, very much rock. particularly number three):
-david and i are still friends, and he's grown a lot from this situation, it seems. i am very proud of him and happy to be there for him through the shit he's going through now that he realizes that he can't hide from it behind me.
-this semester is almost over! i can't wait to go home! pete promises to visit this summer, so that should be very fun.
-andddddddd...about three weeks ago, i'm positive that this would be in the next category, but currently...it very much belongs here-peterharrymoore and i, although not facebook official, have decided to try something new, and, as far as i can tell, we are both incredibly happy with it. that's right. he now calls me his girlfriend, and it is the most comfortable (and incredible) thing in the world.
-this weekend was the greatest. i wasn't allowed to leave pete's cause i was sick, so i played pikmin while he played WOW and we ordered takeout all the time.
-i got a haircut, including bangs, and it is pretty cute, or so people say.
-the bass is a fun instrument to play.
things that i have mixed feelings about:
-milwaukee? music educators and workshops for a week? katieshea+rachelshuttleworth for a week?
-i am almost a senior??? i have to be an adult soon?? agh!
-i am completely under the radar at work, and as a result, am always sent home early/get away with not going because of "school things". on the other hand, though, i am going pretty broke, especially after spring break and with my upcoming trip to milwaukee. mlerg. money. how stupid and inconvenient.
i can't wait to come home and see everyone. it will be refreshing
