cooking clarity
today was the first official cooking club event! we made tofu&vegetables with ginger and coconut sauce. it was delicious, if you must know. and it only cost catherine, rosendo, megcullip, christine and i THREE DOLLARS a piece.
i don't kow if i have said so in here, but my plan for this summer is to only go to restaurants once a week and use cooking with my friends as a hangout alternative. i have been here only a week and a day, and i have been to many restaurants already, but hopefully once i have a job and a normal schedule i can limit it to once a week.
so it was really delicious and really fun. next week we are just going to have a cookout because everyone is interested in trying veggie hotdogs and burgers. if anyone is interested and in town, let me know. you're invited. i think it is going to be tuesday evening.
anyway. i had a very good time with those people last night, and i feel very relaxed and like i have found a bit of clarity that i lacked before.
today i am playing DND with dave and roger and their friends. and i am quite excited.
i still need a job, though. but hopefully tomorrow will yield successful callbacks to the places at which i turned in applications.
