I'm happy. and I love you all.
piece of advice: be happy! don't let your troubles control how you act. everyone has something positive to contribute to the world. don't ever feel like you've failed, because a failure is just a way that doesn't work; keep trying, and you'll find that eventually, you will succeed.
The rain just reminds you of how bright the sun can shine. The same goes for bad days. Bad days make the good ones seem even better. Do what makes you happy, no matter what it is. No one should ever tell you to stop doing something if it makes you happy.
Things may be going badly right now, but they can't stay that way forever. It just isn't possible. Sooner or later, the sun will shine again, and the smiles will show on everyone's faces. The light at the end of the tunnel is approaching, whether you can see that or not. I beg of you to keep your chins up, and keep marching toward a new day, when you will realize that petty arguments are small matters compared to the love that each of you can give. Hate has a limit; love is infinite. The heart knows no boundaries. All life eventually ends, so why spend time doing anything but giving all you can to the people that you love when they need it most? The smile of a friend after they've done nothing but frown can fill you with a sense of peace that can never be taken away. It's the little things make life worth living. There's something about making eye contact with someone you love, and knowing that as long as you have something like friends to believe and have faith in, that just forces you to think "everything will be OK." A simple hug can turn someone's life around.
I didn't think life was worth living anymore at the beginning of this summer, but one of those little things saved me from giving up hope. All it took for me to turn my life around was five simple words, from someone I barely knew at the time. Those words were "you deserve so much better." That's all it took for me to realize that life is not something to waste on being down all the time. I was down as far as you can go. I didn't think that I could be happy again. It had been months since I found anything worth smiling about. I'm speaking from experience when I say that a simple gesture of good will can change someone's life. I've acquired a new appreciation for life since then, and if the only thing I give to my friends is the ability to be happy no matter what, then my time on this Earth was well spent.
Kindness should never be mistaken for weakness. The ones you love may let you down, but I can promise you that letting you down is the very last thing they would ever want to do. Have faith in the fact that people have a limitless capacity to care, but a very limited capacity to hate. Love is what makes our time in this world so amazing. Cherish it.
In the end we can all call a friend,
well that's something that I know as true.
If you're feeling like it just isn't worth it anymore, call me. I'd be more than glad to try and help, because I've been there, and I can promise you that if you keep your head up and keep moving, you'll reclaim the happiness that seemed to slip away so easily.
Ain't nobody gonna break my stride,
Ain't nothin' gonna keep me down
oh no, cause I gots ta keep moving
gots ta keep moving to a better place,
to find my happiness, my love of life,
I'll get it back, just a matter of time
